The White Knight's Kite Shield is a great decorative piece which will add a great deal of flair to any collection. Measuring 24 inches high by 17.5 inches wide, this wonderful testament to medieval warfare is a great conversation piece. Bound with brass and bearing a symbolic red cross, this kite shield comes ready to be hung in any armory. Shields came in a variety of shapes and sizes, and were used throughtout the centuries for defense. This shield is made in burnished 20 gauge steel and is antique crackle finished in white with a red cross and finished with bronzed embossing. The piece is equipped for wall hanging and is complete with a back-mounted bracket that allows one of two swords to be fixed behind the shield for an outstanding wall display.

This Imperial Gallic type helmet was the choice of Officers who led the mighty Roman Legions. The flamboyant crest actually served a purpose for the conspicuously practical Romans. It made the Officer more visible to his men while offering the illusion of height that helped him appear more commanding. Fully wearable, this is a substantial all steel helmet, not a cheap tourist copy, but a faithful museum quality reproduction helmet in a bright steel finish. A fabulous display item.
PLEASE NOTE: Not all helmets have crests attached the same way as in the picture. Some crests will have metal tabs that need to be bent out to tuck into slip fitting on the helmet.

This exquisite full-sized helmet follows the style of the armet, a helmet generally used during the fifteenth and sixteenth centuries. This piece has a full visor hinged at each cheek, which can easily be raised or lowered. The visor has many breathe holes providing adequate vision with superior protection. This particular piece comes with a leather strap and buckle allowing for entry and exit of the piece insuring a snug fit. The gorget has a decorative golden band encircling the helmet. This simple, finely crafted helmet is in the style of the 15th century barbut, an open-faced helmet which is lightweight yet provides excellent protection. This particular barbut has a faceguard protecting the nose and cheekbone areas. A single spike adorns the top of the helmet, providing both decoration and functionality in battle. This piece is crafted completely in steel, is extremely durable and of museum quality. Makes an excellent piece to wear at Renaissance Fairs and is easy to remove.

This is one of our finest medieval helms! This beautiful museum-quality, late 15-th century replica is full-size and ready to wear. Typical for close-helmet design, the Royal Guard Close Helm has an artistic visor that pivots open from bolts on each side of the skull. Vindicator Great Helmet

This impressive battle-ready piece has decorative golden studs worked in a double-cross design on the face visor, as well as along the nape of the helm. Crafted in steel, this great helm is fashioned like a Sugarloaf Helm, due to its conical skull. The conical shape made it much more difficult to damage the helm in battle because blows could be shed from it easily.
The decorative and functional visor pivots from a single hinge attached at the top of the visor allowing for ease of donning or removing the life-size museum-quality helm.
This type of helm was generally used during the 13th century.

Pigface Bascinet The European Pigface Bascinet is circa 1390. This helm style became popular in the late 13th century widely replacing the Great Helm because of its close fit styling. Towards the late 14th century the long snouted appearance had earned it the English nickname Hounskull, or “Pig-faced bascinet”.
